Synopsis:
Confined to a few traditional nesting colonies, which it shares
with the next species, primarily on the south coast.
Habitat Associations:

Coastal Ledges & Islands (47076 acres)
Relative Detectability:
Extremely difficult to confirm. Nests in burrows
under the sod of offshore islands and headlands, and
most active around the burrows at night.
Challenge:
Support efforts to survey coastal nesting burrows at night.
